Definition
Probiotics are defined as “bacteria that positively influence the health by balancing the intestinal microflora.” Probiotics generally refer to lactic acid producing bacteria like Lactobacillus spp., Bifidobacterium spp. and Streptococcus spp. They create an environment that stimulates the growth and the activity of the normal “healthy “ bacterial flora, whereas harmful putrefactive bacteria are inhibited from growing. They help to regenerate and vitalize the body.

W P I 90 Whey Protein Isolate 92% - Protein which contains all essential amino acids. High in lacto albumin (the major source of branch chain amino acids), essential for stamina, athletic performance and muscle growth, regulate blood sugar levels, reduce muscle tics, assist myelin repair and maintain health of epithelial cells of skin and mucous membrane. WP190 is a major source of orotic acid, which helps lower uric acid levels in the system and is an intermediate in the synthesis of RNA DNA, important for wellbeing, healthy immunity and longevity.

Rice Bran - Source of fibre and oil, rich in Vitamin B1 and gamma-oryzanol which protects arteries from oxidised LDL cholesterol, increases HDL cholesterol and thus improves endogenous bile and steroid production. Rice bran also inhibits carcinogens in the colon.

Lecithin – High in phosphatidyl choline, helping fat metabolism, bile production and endogenous production of AcetylCholine (beneficial in nervous system and reducing mental fatigue).

Ground Bee Pollen – Rich source of amino acids, B vitamins, enzymes, minerals, flavonoids and other energy and adaptogenic cofactors. Better synergy and absorption than most vitamin equivalents. Bee pollen can increase the quality of haemoglobin and helps reduce gut lining pathogens. Some people may be allergic to bee products, however; so far we have not encountered this problem with clients taking G N B.

Liquorice Root Powder – Adrenal tonic, immune booster, fungal inhibitor, mucous mover, gut anti-inflammatory and soother. Helps reduce hypertension, common to chronic fatigue.

MSM (Methyl Sulphonyl Methane) – Best source of organic sulphur. Well absorbed, anti allergy, gut lubricant, and tissue detoxifyer. Precursor to cysteine, chondroitin sulphate and keratin sulphate (beneficial to joint mobility and tissue and collagen repair).

Carob Powder – Very nutritious complete food, contains protein, soluble fibre and carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Beneficial source of mucopolysacharides – known to lower cholesterol. Adds flavour and sweetness to GNB and is a rich source of silica (the lancet of biochemistry).

N N Dimethyl Glycine – Very important methyl donor for S A M (S Adenyl Methionine cycle) forms part of the tripeptide glutathione, helps bind toxic heavy metals, helps reduces hypertension, boosts immunity (increases lymphocytes), reduces detrimental lactic acid in the muscle and tissues, improves oxygen transportation and may help reduce symptoms of auto immune inflammatory disorders.

Lactospore – Fast multiplying acid and bile resistant transient lactic acid producing probiotic that improves inoculation of other necessary lactic acid bacteria. Helps digest lactose and build stool size and gut hygiene. Also a fungal inhibitor.
